Deportistas aragoneses del Club Capi de Mequinenza y Centro Natación Helios celebraron sus regatas con una muy buena calificación.
Por parte del Club Capri.:
– Eric Esteve consiguió el pase a cuartos de final en su primer Campeonato de España en la modalidad de Sfiff.
– Abril Esteban y Sofía Ibarz compitieron en doble scull absoluto femenino, quedando segundas en final B.
– Sofía Ibarz participó en la modalidad skiff juvenil femenino1xJF, quedando sexta en final B.
– Claudia Alcázar, tras una disputada repesca, no consiguió el pase a semifinales en el skiff Juvenil Femenino.
El CN Helios consiguió clasificar sus cinco tripulaciones inscritas en las semifinales del campeonato en las categorías cadete, juvenil y absoluta, disputando tres de ellas la final A, de las que dos, subieron al pódium.
– Alexander Jurado en skiff cadete masculino, subcampeón de España, con medalla de plata en el pódium.
– Susana Ponce y Karla Remacha, en doble scull cadete femenino, terceras en la final, con medalla de bronce en el pódium.
– Juan Lerma y Pablo Briz, en doble scull absoluto masculino, consiguieron un sexto puesto en la final.
– Susana Ponce, Karla Remacha, Pilar Marcén y Kiara Valverde en cuatro scull cadete femenino, siendo cuartas en la final B.
– Iñigo Zapata en skiff cadete masculino, se clasificó quinto en final B.
Muy buenos resultados, que adquieren más valor con la convocatoria para la selección nacional juvenil de Alexander Jurado, joven valor del equipo de remo, que pese a su juventud (todavía cuenta con 14 años). Se suma a Esther Briz en la lista de remeros aragoneses en el equipo nacional. Ambos son la punta de lanza de un grupo de deportistas que está creciendo con fuerza y que en próximos años seguro ampliarán esta lista.
